Your AI second brain with long-term memory

Stop re-explaining yourself to AI. Memini remembers what you tell it, connects it overnight, and answers from your own memory, with the notes it used.

Get the answer, not the search results.

  1. Build your private memory.

Add what matters: notes, files, the things you keep forgetting. It becomes your own private memory, and only you can search it.

  2. Get the answer, written for you.

Not a pile of notes to read. The answer, pulled from your own memory, with the notes it came from. If it doesn't know, it says so instead of guessing.

  3. It keeps working overnight.

While you're away, it extracts facts from what you've saved and links the notes that belong together, so your memory gets sharper the longer you use it.

Your second brain can do more than remember.

When a quick answer isn't enough, point Memini at everything you've saved and let it work. Each mode reasons over your own private memory, comes back with the sources, and saves the result as a thread you can return to.

Deep Thinking

For questions that deserve a careful answer. Memini works through everything you've saved and writes a considered reply, with the notes behind it. If your memory is thin or disagrees with itself, it says so.

Brainstorm

Turn what you've saved into ideas. Memini ranges across your memory, near and far, and comes back with a spread of angles, each tied to the notes it came from.

Lateral Synaptic Drift

The most exploratory mode. It reaches into the distant, half-forgotten corners of your memory and surfaces connections you would never have gone looking for.

This is what a general chatbot can't do: real reasoning over your own private memory, not the open web. Deep modes are part of Memini's paid plans.

What happens to your data.

Masked before any AI

Before your text goes to an AI model, Memini detects emails, phone numbers, and card or bank numbers and swaps them for placeholders like [EMAIL_1].

Encrypted and walled off

The real values live in a separate vault, encrypted with keys derived per user. At the database level, your memory is walled off from every other account.

Never trained on, no data brokers

Your conversations are never used to train AI models. No ad SDKs. No third-party trackers. No data brokers.

Yours to take back

Export everything as Markdown and JSON whenever you want. Delete your account yourself, in the app or right here on the site.

What we don't claim

Memini is a cloud service, not end-to-end encrypted. Names and free text do reach the AI, because that is what makes the answers useful. Automatic detection catches standard formats, not every possible way to write a number. Our direction is to mask more, and miss less, over time. The Privacy Policy spells out exactly what is and isn't protected.

Built on gbrain.

Memini runs on gbrain, the open-source AI memory engine created by Garry Tan, President and CEO of Y Combinator, to power his own AI. He built it for people who could self-host it. Memini puts that same memory in your pocket, with zero setup.

Memini is an independent product, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Garry Tan or Y Combinator. gbrain is open-source software used under the MIT license.
